We are so appreciative of the incredible outpouring of support we received during Live PC Give PC. It was a true testament to the spirit of giving and community that defines Park City.
We kicked off the event with a warm and inspiring gathering at Trove Gallery the evening before. Donors, friends, and a few of our furry ambassadors came together to celebrate our mission. It was a joy to share stories, enjoy some wine and snacks, snuggle pups, and discuss why animal rescue is so vital to our hearts and our community.
On the big day, we took to the streets with enthusiasm and creativity! You may have seen us outside The Market and Petco or noticed our A-frame sign at Run-a-Muk. Our Nuzzles vehicles made their rounds, dropping puppies off to various locations and honking and waving. We handed out dog bones tied to QR codes, with adoptable animals featured on the back. These thoughtful tokens made their way to Storm Cycles, Hugo Coffee, The Silver Cricket, and Trove Gallery, spreading our message far and wide. We believe these little bones of love helped donations continue to roll in even after midnight when the event ended.
Our goal this year was ambitious: $120,000. While we didn’t quite reach that number, we came remarkably close, raising a total of $115,389 from 489 donors! This includes $38,750 in matching grants, thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters. What’s most exciting is the growth in community support — last year, we raised $102,000, with matching grants covering half that amount. This year, we saw a significant jump in contributions directly from the Park City community, a testament to how much animal rescue resonates with you all.
