COOPER LEE DAINES
MARCH 14, 2005 – APRIL 26, 2024

On April 26, 2024, the world lost a young man, Cooper Daines, in an unexpected car accident on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Cooper’s vibrant spirit, love for nature, and deep affection for animals left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

His mother, Andrea, eloquently shared his memory: “Our beautiful son Cooper Daines was tragically killed in a car accident on April 26, 2024, in Arizona. If you are visiting this page, you already know what a kind, funny, and loving person he was, with a bright and sunny disposition. He loved nature and animals, so in lieu of any flowers, if you are desiring to contribute, please consider a donation to Nuzzles. Over the years, Cooper and his brother Eddie adopted several dogs and cats, so this is an organization near to their hearts. Anything that is donated will be used to rescue and shelter homeless puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats until they can find them forever homes. Thank you for loving our beautiful boy.”

In honor of Cooper’s memory, family, friends, and supporters have generously donated over $5,000 to Nuzzles. With these donations, we rescued 12 dogs from the Navajo Nation, each named by the family. Cooper’s father even adopted one of these special puppies.

Andrea has expressed how much our efforts have meant to her and her family. To date, all but one of the puppies in the Cooper Daines Litter have found their forever homes. This act of kindness and generosity has not only helped these puppies in need but has also created a lasting tribute to a young man whose life was filled with love and compassion.
