Pinocchio, an 11-month-old mixed breed who came to us from Summit County Animal Control, is a perfect blend of charm and energy. With his slim build and striking features—including one captivating half-blue eye—this handsome boy immediately stands out. Despite being a big guy, his lean frame keeps him at a manageable 52 pounds, making him a great size for both outdoor adventures and cozy nights in.
Pinocchio is the ultimate companion for an active home. He’s happiest when he’s by your side, whether exploring the outdoors, enjoying a spirited play session, or settling in with his favorite toys after a good run. On trails, he’s confident yet attentive, checking back with you on a long lead and responding quickly to whistles and calls.
This smart boy is picking up commands like “sit” and “down” and thrives with positive reinforcement (especially if treats are involved!). While he’s still working on curbing his excitement and often jumps up to say hello, his eagerness to please and love of food make him a quick learner who will excel with consistent foundational training.
Pinocchio loves toys, plays wonderfully with other dogs, and adores people. He’s had some fantastic tug toy sessions with Everest and loves chasing tennis balls. He’s curious about cats, so we’re recommending a home without them for now to help him fully focus on his new family.
