Meet Elijah! Prepare to be amazed by this incredible guy’s story. At approximately 6 years old, Elijah found his way into our care with a tale that truly tugs at the heartstrings. Hitching a ride, despite lacking thumbs, with a kind truck driver passing through the Navajo Nation, Elijah’s journey took an unexpected turn. The observant driver noticed a potential tumor on Elijah and sought help at our Animal Care Center in Kayenta, AZ. We swiftly welcomed this gentle soul into our care, and our dedicated Vet Team went to work. Discovering a giant tumor, likely a result of being un-neutered, they skillfully removed it, confirming it was benign. Elijah, a true gem of the desert, is now ready and available for adoption!
