George is about two years young, which means he’s past the puppy chaos but still has all the playful, bouncy energy of a dog who’s just figuring out how fun life can be. This black and white mixed-breed boy came to us from the Roosevelt Animal Shelter, looking for a fresh start and a forever family to call his own.

George can be a bit bashful when meeting new people, but a handful of treats is the quickest way to his heart. Once he’s decided you’re part of his pack, he’ll follow you around like the loyal buddy he is, always keeping an eye on his favorite human.

He’s got a bit of a spring in his step, too – he might jump up to say hello, which is just his way of showing he’s excited to see you. A little training will go a long way in helping him remember his manners, but his affectionate nature makes him worth the effort.

George gets along well with other dogs (with the right introductions) and would do great in a home with kids over 5 who can appreciate his playful energy. If you’re looking for a pup with a big heart and a dash of charm, George might just be the perfect match.
